TLC272B Dual 16V 2MHz 2mV offset voltage op amp

Mondo Digital Updated on 2024-02-18

The TLC272 and TLC277 precision dual operational amplifiers combine a wide range of input offset voltage levels with low offset voltage drift, high input impedance, low noise, and speed close to that of general-purpose BIFET devices.

These devices feature Texas Instruments silicon gate LinCMOS technology, which provides offset voltage stability that far exceeds that of traditional metal gate processes.

Extremely high input impedance, low bias current, and high slew rate make these cost-effective devices ideal for applications previously reserved for BIFET and NFET products. Four offset voltage levels are available (C suffix and I suffix types) ranging from the low-cost TLC272 (10 mV) to the high-precision TLC277 (500 UV). These benefits, combined with good common-mode rejection and supply voltage rejection, make these devices a good choice for state-of-the-art new designs as well as for upgrading existing ones.

In general, LinCMOS op amps offer many of the features associated with bipolar technology without the power loss of bipolar technology. The TLC272 and TLC277 make it easy to design general applications such as sensor interfaces, analog calculations, amplifier modules, active filters, and signal buffering. The device also features low-voltage single-supply operation, making it ideal for remote and hard-to-access battery-powered applications. The common-mode input voltage range includes negative rails.

A variety of package options are available, including small form factor and chip-carrier versions for high-density system applications.

The device's inputs and outputs are designed to withstand 100mA inrush currents without continuous latch-up.

The TLC272 and TLC277 integrate internal ESD protection circuitry to prevent functional failures at voltages up to 2000 V (according to MIL-STD-883C, Method 3015.)2 to conduct a test); However, care should be taken when handling these devices, as exposure to ESD may result in degraded device parametric performance.
