According to data released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing on the 6th, in February 2024, the Asian manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) was 503%, a slight decrease of 01 percentage point, remaining above 50% for two consecutive months, reflecting that Asia's manufacturing industry still maintains a steady growth trend.

From the perspective of major countries, China's manufacturing PMI has been stable at more than 49% for two consecutive months; India's manufacturing PMI has remained stable above 56% for two consecutive months; Among the ASEAN countries, except for Thailand's manufacturing PMI, which decreased significantly from the previous month, the manufacturing PMI trend of the rest of the countries was relatively stable and did not fluctuate much.

According to the analysis, the trend of Asian manufacturing PMI shows that the stability of Asian manufacturing is still better than that of Europe, the Americas and Africa. The continuous promotion of RCEP is conducive to enhancing the degree of economic integration in Asia, thereby ensuring the stability of Asian economies. The steady recovery of the economies of China and India remains an important force for economic stability in Asia. In particular, China's support for the Asian and world economies is still very obvious. According to the Wilson Center, a U.S. think tank, China is still the largest partner of more than 120 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam.
