The chemical composition of S32750 stainless steel is as follows:- Iron (Fe): about 42-46% - Nickel (Ni): about 6-8% - Chromium (Cr): about 24-26% - Molybdenum (Mo): about 3-5% - Manganese (Mn): about 12% max - silicon (Si): about 08% max - carbon (c): about 003% max - sulfur (s): about 001% max - phosphorus (p): about 0035% max - Nitrogen (n) accounts for about 024-0.32% and copper (Cu) accounts for about 05% max.
The tensile strength is usually above 800MPa, the yield strength is above 550MPa, and the elongation is above 25%. The density is about 78 grams cubic centimeter, the melting point is about 1350-1380 degrees Celsius, and the thermal conductivity is about 142 watts (m Kelvin), the coefficient of linear expansion is about 137 μm (m Kelvin), and the specific heat capacity is about 042 joules (G. Kelvin).
Surface treatment method: 1Pickling: Used to remove oxides, greases and other impurities from the surface of stainless steel. Pickling can improve the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. 2.Mechanical polishing: Stainless steel surfaces are sanded and polished by using grinding, polishing tools and materials to provide a smooth, brilliant surface. 3.Sandblasting: is a method of changing the texture of a surface by spraying abrasive particles on the surface of stainless steel. Sandblasting can create a rough surface and is often used to increase the adhesion and aesthetics of stainless steel. 4.Electrochemical polishing: It is a kind of electrolysis of stainless steel in an electrolyte to remove oxides and impurities on the surface to improve the finish and brightness of the stainless steel surface. 5.Plating treatment: Methods such as electroplating or hot-dip plating can be used to form a special coating on the surface of stainless steel to increase the corrosion resistance and aesthetics of stainless steel.
It has excellent corrosion resistance and strength, and is suitable for a variety of harsh environments and high-pressure applications. Applications include marine engineering, the oil and gas industry, the chemical industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and food processing.
