Translations. Rhyme translation.
At dusk, the bells of the mountain temple echo through the valley, and there is a noisy sound at the Yuliang Ferry.
People walked along the sandy bank towards Jiangcun, and I also took a small boat back to Lumen.
The moonlight of Lumen made the mountain trees visible, and I suddenly came to the hermitage of Pang Gong.
The cold mountain and rock roads are quiet forest roads, and only the reclusive people come and go here.
Loose translation. It was almost dusk, the bell in the mountain temple rang, and the people at the Yuliang ferry were vying to cross the river, making a lot of noise. Pedestrians walked along the sandy bank towards Jiangcun, and I also took a small boat back to Lumen Mountain. The bright moonlight reflected Lumen Mountain, and the mountain trees were misty. Suddenly, it seemed that I had unconsciously arrived at the place where Pang Gong had lived in seclusion, and also to the place where I now lived. The rocks and the path between the pines are secluded and quiet, and only the hermit comes and goes alone, becoming one with this wonderful nature.

His real name is unknown (one says that his name is Hao), the word Haoran, a native of Xiangyang, Xiangzhou (now Xiangyang, Hubei), and is known as "Meng Xiangyang". Haoran, less good and righteous, happy to help people in trouble, work in poetry. Forty years of traveling to Beijing, Tang Xuanzong chanted his poems, to the words of "not only the master abandoned", Xuanzong said: "Qing does not seek to be a teacher, I have not abandoned Qing, so why accuse me?" Because he has not yet been released, he lived in seclusion in Lumen Mountain and wrote more than 200 poems. Meng Haoran and another landscape idyllic poet, Wang Wei, are collectively known as "Wang Meng".
Analysis. This poem describes what the poet saw, heard and felt when he returned to Lumen Mountain at night, expressing the poet's hidden feelings. The last scene focuses on the dynamic depiction of characters such as Zhong Ming, Zhengdu, Xiangjiang Village, and Guilumen, and the next scene focuses on the static depiction of moonlight, rock gates, pine paths, etc., first moving and then static, and writing the quiet scenery of Lumen with movement against static, showing the poet's quiet state of mind, and at the same time implying the lonely and helpless mood in the quiet and secluded taste. The whole poem is written smoothly, the language is simple, and the emotions are sincere. Hotspot Engine Program
