It is reported that the exercise was recently held in the northern regions of Finland, Norway and Sweden, and more than 20,000 military personnel from 13 countries will participate in the exercise. Finland will send nearly 4,100 personnel and 700 pieces of equipment, including 12 F A-18 Hornet fighters, while Sweden will use about 4,500 personnel from all services. As we all know, Sweden has effectively become a member of NATO after Hungary ratified its accession application, and the official signing ceremony of the membership document will take place in the near future.
Therefore, the joint actions of Finland and Sweden are, in Russia's view, tantamount to a dangerous provocation by NATO on Russia's borders.
