This statement cannot be said to be wrong, but it is also a narrow historical narrative.
In fact, there is a grand historical background for Han Fuyu, that is, the Battle of Xuzhou.
When the planning for the Battle of Xuzhou began, Han Fuyu in Shandong Province had no intention of defending the Yellow River in order to preserve his strength, so that the Yellow River defense line was in vain, and the Japanese 10th Division easily crossed the Yellow River from Qingcheng and Jiyang on December 23, 1937. Under the critical situation, Han Fuyu did not resist and hurriedly retreated from Jinan, leaving only the 20th Division of the headquarters to stay in Jinan and make a show, but Jinan was lost on the 26th.
On the 31st, Lao Jiang telegraphed Han Fuyu to order the main force of his subordinates to "distribute the main forces in the counties of the Taishan Mountains in the Linyi area of Tai'an, so as not to let the Japanese invaders get the whole Lu at their fingertips." ”
However, Han Fuyu still ignored it and retreated all the way to the areas of Chengwu, Shanxian and Cao counties in southwest Lu, and did not report to Li Zongren, the commander of the Fifth Theater of Operations.
At that time, Li Zongren was very determined to fight the Battle of Xuzhou, and the Military Command Department had previously issued a clear order, "All theaters have the responsibility to defend their territory and cannot retreat into other theaters", so Li Zongren advised Han Fuyu to return to Tai'an and not to enter the defense area of the first theater without authorization.
Han Fuyu has always been arrogant, and he not only didn't buy Li Zongren's advice, but also ridiculed: "Nanjing is lost, how can there be Tai'an?" All-out War of Resistance, what is the difference between each other? ”
Han Fuyu's attitude first angered Li Zongren, who then reported to the Supreme Command on January 3, 1938, with a long-distance **, saying that "Han Xiangfang has no intention of fighting." ”
At that time, Han Fuyu not only passively resisted the war, but also had rumors of "plotting to overthrow Chiang". Legend has it that Han Fuyu conspired with Liu Xiang, the "King of Sichuan" and commander of the Seventh Theater, and actively contacted Song Zheyuan, commander-in-chief of the First Group Army, to prepare to cooperate in the overthrow of Chiang.
At a critical juncture of life and death for the country, Han Fuyu ignored the overall situation of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and in the eyes of many people, his crime was punishable.
It is worth noting that the killing of Han was not Lao Chiang's private plot.
On January 8, 1938, Lao Chiang convened an important military conference in Hankou, and the topics of the meeting were mainly two: to study the strategy against Japan and to discuss the disposition of Han Fuyu.
Bai Chongxi, He Yingqin, Chen Cheng, and others who attended the meeting all believed that "if the ROK is allowed to enter and exit freely without sanctions, military discipline will be ruined, the people's will will be lost, and the more than 180 divisions and more than 40 brigades that participated in the War of Resistance will lose confidence and will not be able to command the all-out war." ”
This is tantamount to the unanimous request of the generals to take Han Fuyu's sacrifice flag, and Lao Jiang has long had the idea of eradicating dissidents and killing people to establish authority, so whether it is out of righteousness or self-interest, Han Fuyu will die.
This also reflects Han Fuyu's lack of overall wisdom from one side, and at such a historical juncture, his virtue and wisdom cannot match the reality of one of the princes.
After the proposal to kill Han was unanimously approved, Lao Jiang decided to immediately convene the first in Kaifeng, the capital of Henan Province.

Liu Zhi has the reputation of "lucky general" and also the name of "pig general" in the Kuomintang, and he is easy to make mistakes in his actions, and he has made many low-level mistakes in his life. This time, the "Princes of the Beacon Fire Show" was because he took care of one thing and lost the other, while blocking the sky over Kaifeng and issuing an alarm, he forgot to notify the anti-aircraft artillery unit at the airport, and almost accidentally injured Bai Chongxi.
Because of this accident, Bai Chongxi was particularly impressed by that day, so he left a precious record, and the killing of Han Fuyu was a game they formed together.

Some people say that this paragraph was made up by later generations, but in the biographies of Bai Chongxi and others, this paragraph is believed because he is very in line with Han Fuyu's character.
Han Fuyu fell into a dead end in Kaifeng, Liu Zhi acted as a soul messenger, and Dai Li played the role of a thug.
What is embarrassing is that after Han Fuyu was announced to be arrested, his first general, Sun Tongxuan, actually found Li Zongren and Bai Chongxi, hoping that Li Bai would come forward to plead with Jiang.
Li Bai is the first promoter to kill Han, and such a plea is tantamount to urging life.
After Han Fuyu was killed, there was a very strong voice - if it wasn't for killing Han Fuyu to achieve the effect of killing a hundred people, it would be unimaginable to achieve a great victory in Taierzhuang.
Xu Yongchang's diary records this: "Recently, our army has taken a turn in the Jinlu military. The enemy army is quite heavy, and for more than a month, the battle in Luyu and Jin has been fierce, but our army has not been ordered to retreat. So far, there are more than 200,000 troops fighting in Jin, although they have been repeatedly pressed by the enemy, and none of them have crossed the river.
