As a former top newcomer in the professional boxing heavyweight division, Adam Conaki now seems to have gotten used to lying flat and no longer chasing glory!
On March 3, 2024, Beijing time, Adam Kownacki (Adam Kownacki) returned to his hometown for the first time in a Polish heavyweight national title fight in Kosharin, Poland, but he was defeated by his opponent, heavyweight rookie Kacper Mayna (Kacper Mayna) in the first round of the fight, suffering a fifth straight loss in his career.
The 34-year-old was considered a rising star in the professional boxing heavyweight division until 2020, when he defeated former world champion Charles Martin and former world title challengers Gerald Washington and Artur Spielka. It can be said that no one will be surprised if Adam Conaki at that time was revealed to be a World Champion challenger and fought for the heavyweight World Champion with Anthony Joshua or Deonta Wilder.
But when the clock ticked into 2020, everything changed. In this year, Adam Konaki was defeated by TKO by Finnish veteran Robert Helenius, who has been away from the mainstream for many years, and what is even more terrifying, Adam Konaki's upward momentum was also defeated, and in the following years, Riadam Konaki lost consecutive fights, and the decline could not be stopped, and he lost to Robert Helenius (for the second time), Ali Ellen Demiretsen and Joe Cusummano.
Adam Konaki returned to his native Poland to face 24-year-old newcomer Casper Meiner, in large part to end his losing streak and extend his professional boxing career with a low-difficulty match. However, even the realization of this simple wish is very difficult for Adam Konacki now.
In the first round of the bout, Adam Konaki was forced into a corner by Casper Miner before he could even start testing, and in the face of Casper Miner's relentless combination punch attack, Adam Konaki had no ability to fight back at all, and could only be beaten passively. The referee on duty, Lešek Jankowiak, could not stand it anymore and had to intervene to stop what seemed to be a one-sided match.
The first round came to an abrupt end just 45 seconds into the game, and Adam Conaki lost the bout by a TKO to Casper Miner, reluctantly swallowing a five-game losing streak.
By the end of the bout, Adam Konaki's record had dropped to 20-5, with 15 of those knockouts winning. Obviously, he has now been reduced to a standard boxing stat brush, and in the future, he can only rely on the fame he has accumulated in the boxing ring to earn a living expenses.
