CET4 is the abbreviation of the National College English Test (CET-4), sponsored by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and is an important English test in China's education examination. The CET4 exam is held twice a year, in June and December.

The CET4 exam process is as follows:

1.Sign up

Registration for the CET4 exam is generally held in March and April each year. Candidates can register online through the examination center of the Ministry of Education** or the provincial and municipal education examination institutes** within the specified time. When registering, candidates need to provide their name, gender, ID number, admission ticket number (if any), student registration number, ** and other information.

2.Payment

After successful registration, candidates must pay the examination fee at the specified time and method. The examination fee is 45 yuan per person.

3.Admission ticket collection

After the payment is successful, candidates can collect the admission ticket at the registration point within the specified time. The admission ticket is a voucher for candidates to take the exam, and candidates should keep it properly.

4.Exams

The CET4 exam is held once a year in June and December and lasts for 2 hours and 45 minutes. The test subjects are English, and the test covers listening, reading, writing and translation.

5.Score inquiry

Exam results are generally released about two months after the exam. Candidates can check their results through the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education** or the Provincial and Municipal Education Examination Institutes**.

CET4 exam results are divided into four levels:

A score of 600 or above (including 600 points) is considered excellent;

A score of 550 or above is considered good

A score of 425 or above (including 425 points) is considered a passing grade

A score of less than 425 is considered a failure.
