I didn't understand it until I got seriously ill in 2020. In addition to life and death, everything else in life is a trivial matter.

People often say: It is better to die than to live, because only by living can there be more possibilities in life.

In order to live longer, I made the following plan and I plan to live like this for the rest of my life.

1. Except for life and death, everything is a trivial matter, and we attach importance to physical health

When I was young, I always felt that the future was still long and death was far away, but since I was born once, I realized that the future is close at hand, and death is not far away.

The human body has memories like the brain, and when you are old, you always have to pay for your ignorant self when you were young.

In fact, when people reach old age, the greatest wealth is not how much money you have, nor how filial your children are, but that you have a healthy body.

When people reach old age, the body is the foundation of everything, and only when the body is healthy, can we enjoy the filial piety of our children and the joy brought by our grandchildren.

In life, no one can predict which will come first, tomorrow or the accident. Just like me, never thought cancer would happen to me.

Before the diagnosis, I did not feel any discomfort, and during my daughter's confinement, I was by her side to give her the best care and affection.

My daughter's confinement is over, and the epidemic is coming, we didn't visit relatives and friends that year, and we originally thought that my little grandson would come over in 100 days and I would take good care of him.

Who would have thought that the arrival of my daughter and grandson was also the moment when I was diagnosed with cancer, and the fear, hesitation, and shock of that moment often come to me now, as if it happened yesterday.

After a serious illness, my psychology has changed along with the changes in my body, and I am no longer afraid of death!

But I still want to live a good life, and I will always pay attention to my physical health in the future, and at the same time do my physical examination on time, and develop good living habits and eating habits.

Diet: pay attention to balanced nutrition, meet the needs of the body, try to reduce oil, salt and sugar, prevent the "three highs", and reduce the probability of other chronic diseases.

In terms of living habits: go to bed early and get up early, don't stay up late, and don't stay in bed. Get up in the morning and drink a glass of plain water on an empty stomach.

Go out to bask in the sun during the day to replenish calcium, soak your feet before going to bed at night, promote blood circulation and dispel dampness, and have the effect of delaying body aging.

Physical examination on time every year, regular re-examination, know the health status of the body, early detection, early **, minor illness as a major illness.

Only when the body is healthy, the children will not be dragged down, and they will not have to deal with the hospital twice in three days, so that they can enjoy their own old age.

2. Adjust your mentality and face everything positively and optimistically

The body is the best response to emotions! I didn't believe it before, but now I believe it.

In the future, I will adjust my mindset and face everything that happens in my life positively. Since you can't change the outcome, then face it calmly and accept it.

For the rest of my life, I will love myself and take care of my body and emotions. You can eat whatever you want, go shopping when you want, see whoever you want, and everything is self-centered.

Whoever wants to make me unhappy, I will make whoever is unhappy, and from now on, I will no longer endure it, and I will no longer grieve myself. Learn to release your unhappiness instead of holding it in your heart and consuming yourself internally.

The rest of your life is limited, being happy is a day, and being unhappy is also a day, so why not live every day happily.

3. Live in the moment and be content

In the past, there were always words like what if and if in my mind, but not in the future, there are no ifs and ifs in life, there are only the present and the future.

Maintain an optimistic and positive attitude, do not compare, do not envy. Cherish what you have, and those who are content are always happy.

Instead of worrying about the future every day, it is better to try to live the present well, to be the master of your own life, and to be the master of your own emotions rather than a slave.

I don't know what the future holds, but I know that there is only one me in the world, and every day is a limited edition, how can I not treat it well!
